A Brief History of Magick

Magic without a “k”, this indicates it is not genuine magick but a trickery or slight of hand. However, through the ages despite all the prejudice and witch hunts by people who wanted to control the masses magick does not just prevail, but thrives. Magick is still generally practiced in private, due to its indoctrination of most people by traditional religion.

Why are magick and love spells such a threat to the mainstream religion? It is because magick teaches you things mainstream religion does not. Like magick teaches you all power comes from within you. It shows you that you do not need an intermediary between you and your creator. Magick teaches you the truth that god loves you and you are not a sinner, but a child of god and therefore heir to all the good you could ever desire.

Magick has taught people self love and self respect. It gives people the idea to think for themselves and to rely on that inner wisdom that we all have, but have seem to lost touch with. It helps one to reconnect to the imagination and the the processes of the right brain. It also helps us to gain a deeperconnection to nature and nature cycles in which many people have lost touch with living in concrete jungles.

It helps you to think outside of the box and go beyond your current conditioning. Which is proven to be common amongst more intellectual people.

Until just recently the practice of magick has been held in secrecy by those of privilege, not wanting their secrets of success to fall into the hands of the common people.
