Love Spell: How can a Gris-Gris Bag empower love spells?

I first  learned about  Gris-Gris Bags (pronounced gREE-gREE) or Mojo Bags when I used to frequent New Orleans several years ago.  I am confident it is apparent to the reader, that I have much different spiritual beliefs,values, and ethics then most of those into Hoodoo.  I have, however, found Gris-Gris Bags  to be very powerful.   They makes sense from an energy/metaphysical perspective to me, as plants which herbs come from do have auras.  We can even take a picture using Kirlian Photography. We know that an aura is a magnetic energy field around living things.  Magnetic fields either draw things to us or repel things away from us.

I have found that Gris-Gris Bags are most powerful to draw new love into your life.  A Gris-Gris Bag is always made from red fabric (red being a powerful color is a common belief among kabbalists, yogis, and buddists).  I have used red flannel chamois bags.  Gris-Gris Bags are not limited to love spells you can also use them to draw health, jobs, money, customers, or just about anything else. Things to put into your Gris-Gris Bag for a love spell:

- Something to connect the energy to you such as hair, nails, and/or body fluids seem to work best as this is literally “you” genetically.

-Herbs associated with drawing new love such as Apple Seeds, Grains of Paradise, Lavender, Rose Buds, Cinnamon, Patchouli, Jasmine, Basil, Catnip, Plumeria, Daisy, Tonka Beans, Vanilla Beans, Yarrow, Yohimbe, Valerian and Chili Pepper.

-Stones associated with love such as rose quartz, ruby, emerald, pearl, and even rough diamonds.

On a Friday night, in the waxing phase of the moon, and preferably in the Planetary Hour of Venus.  Place the all the things you intend to use in your bad into a bowl.  Put your right hand over the bowl and allow energy to flow into the herbs.  Picture in vivid detail for 20 minutes what you want this Gris Gris Bag to do for you.  It is important that you picture it as already done now.  So you see clearly in your mind what you want as it is a reality happening now.

The total number of items used in the bag should equal to an odd number (5,7,9,11, or 13).

Every Friday put a few drops of Irresistible Magnet Oil on the Gris-Gris Bag. When you are confident your desire has manifested bury the Gris-Gris Bag in the earth.

Things to keep in mind:

1.The subconscious thinks in symbols (pictures, scents, feelings)
2. You can harness the power of a prayer, mantra, or symbol that has been associated with love by others (Such as the alchemical symbol for Venus or a mantra to the goddess of love Laxmi)
3. There is only one mind. Your mind is the only mind that needs to be changed to produce the result you want. Like Gandhi said, “change the world by changing yourself.”

Its all in your mind! lol Since there is only one mind. You can tap into the power of symbols, deities, affirmations, prayers, scents, and mantras that have been charged over hundreds sometimes thousands of years with the belief and faith of others to empower your love spell.

You can make a talisman to carry with you, you can engrave symbols into your candle, or you can do both. “How to make and use talismans” by Isreal Regardie is a great book by one of my favorite authors that you can read for free on making talismans.  CLICK HERE and go to the very bottom of the page and you will find several symbols you can print out and incorporate in your own love spells.  I have found that it is best to print a symbol out and then color it in yourself, because the process of either writing something out if it is a prayer or coloring it in if it is a picture will impress that symbol on the subconscious mind much stronger.

How Long Does It Take For A Love Spell To Kick-In?

Can a love spell work over night or in hours?

It definitely can happen, but it is certainly not a “reasonable expectation.”  I have found that it depends on a variety of factors many of which are in your control.  Realistically, if you have a very stubborn case it can take several months or even longer to get things completely together.  Also, if you are looking to hire someone to help you spiritually and they tell you “immediate results” or “results in hours” this is a big red flag!

What ways can you recommend to help one raise their energy so the love spell will work quicker?

Daily meditation, reading positive books, doing yoga, doing affirmations, sea salt baths, and trying not to think to much about the problem but more focused on what you want to manifest (the solution).  Sometimes, it is very hard to be positive when you are going through a major love challenge about the situation specifically. It is best to just not think to much about the person at all, when it comes to mind imagine that you are giving it to the higher power and know that the higher power is now empowering your love spell to manifest the perfect results in your situations. I recommend that you work more on being positive in general.  Be very conscious of the type of thoughts and feelings you are entertaining and keep putting you attention back on the positive.

Should I do more then one love spell?

Yes. I have found the first love spell you do is like planting a seed. Every additional love spell you do will only help to fertilize that seed and make things go quicker.

When you are fist starting out with love magick you do not have the same power as someone that has been doing it for years. It is just like one does not become an expert pianist overnight. To fill this gap, you just focus more.

Does every love spell work the same for every client?

No. I used to be into body building and I could duplicate someone else s work out routine exactly and not get the same results.  Everyone’s body is different and it is the same with magick.

This is another reason that I recommend that you keep doing love spells until you get the results that you want. I have found some love spells are extremely powerful for some situations and not at all for others. The more love spells you do you are bound to stumble upon the perfect one that produces the results that you want quickly.

Do you get signs that the love spell is working even before you see any results?

Yes. God and the Angels always give you signs that you are going in the right direction and not wasting your time.  You will get dreams, things you associate with the person will pop up everywhere, the candles also will give you signs (see my other post about this topic).

This love spell has worked very good for several clients that have had this problem.

Things you will need:

Reddish Pink Candle (7 day candle in the glass)
Come To Me Oil
Vetivert Oil
Patchouli Oil

Directions:

On the first Friday after the new moon bury the pink candle in the ground.

On the following Thursday Dig the candle up.

Into your Come To Me Oil put three drops of Vetivert and Patchouli Oil.

Light your candle on the second Friday after the new moon allow it to burn for a half an hour.  Then place a cap full of Come To Me Oil mixed with the other two oils.

Get a small amount of sand and place it into and around the candle.

Vetivert and Patchouli Oil are both associated with the element of earth so this is why you place them into the come to me oil, to symbolise they are coming to you on this plane and not just in their mind and thoughts. Adding Vetivert Oil and Patchouli is a good idea for any love spell you have been working on  that doesnt seem to be manifesting into form.

I have been practicing Angel Magick for many years and it is very powerful when you combine it with your earth magick and candle burning magick.  When you invoke the angels to empower your love spell it really speeds things up.  I recommend that you cast a circle before you do the  love spell you have selected,  use the version for casting the circle that is at the bottom of Casting the circle it reads  “LBRP DJ Ownbey’s version”

You really can use any love spell with angel magick either on this site or elsewhere.   Invoking the angels to empower it will make any love spell much more powerful.  The angels are amazingly powerful and they are just waiting for the opportunity to help you and empower you with your love spell, but you have to ask for their help in order to receive it.

I also recommend that you write to them before you invoke them and ask them for exactly what you want be very specific keep the angel letters in your bible or some sacred place.

If your love spell involves reuniting with an Ex I would recommend invoking:

ARCH ANGEL RAPHIEL: His name means healer of G-d in Hebrew. He is invoked for healing and any type of love situation. He is pictured as the Lovers Card in the Rider Waite Tarot Deck.
In Kabbalah, he rules the level of Tiferet on the tree. So I use a yellow candle with Frankincense Oil and Cinnamon Oil in it to invoke him (as these are the scents and color associated with Tiferet)

IELIEL (JELIEL)(2): He is very good to re-establish peace, love, and tranquility between lovers
Use a white candle with Ambergrs Oil to represent him. (in addition to the other candles you are using for your love spell)

HAZIEL(9): He is very good very good to for love spells that are designed to attract the attention of new lovers. He is also good to pray to if you need your lover to forgive you and release the past.
Use a grey candle with Musk Oil  in it to represent him. (in addition to the other candles you are using for your love spell)

IEZALEL (YEZALEL) (13): He is very good for love spells that involve someone who has a hard time being faithful. He is also used for reconcilitation.
Use a pink candle with Rose Absolute Otto in it to represent him. (in addition to the other candles you are using for your love spell)

LEHAHIAH (34): He is very good for love spells where there is a lot of anger, hostility, or bitterness that needs to be released and healed.  He is also good to use in love spells where you think some type of injustice has occured.

ROHEL (ROCHEL)(69) He is very good to invoke if you have had many challenges with love.  He brings fortune to love life. Helps you to meet the “right” lovers and have more discernment in picking lovers.
Use an purple candle with Jamine Oil in it on a Monday to invoke him.

How to Incorporate the Power of Gem Magick Into Your Candle Burning Love Spells

This love spell assumes you know how to select, cleanse, and program your crystals (I do plan on writing articles on this subject  later).

Use either a very large rose quartz or several small ones.  I also place picos diamond, ruby, garnet, pearl, moonstone, lodestone, red quartz, pearl, and a green diamond (green being the color of the heart chakra)  into this mixture, but I have been doing this for years so I have obtained these very expensive items over time.  When I first started I used just rose quartz and it worked great.  The other stones just kind of fine tune and strengthen the energy.

If you are familiar with gemstones and crystals you will know that many make elixirs with the stones that they drink out of spring water.  This is similar, but we are going to make ours with a carrier oil such as apricot kernel oil (apricot kernel oil is the best carrier oil to use for love spells because it also has properties to bring love).

Things you will need:

Rose Quartz and any other crystals/gemstones you have that are associated with love.
Mason Jar (usually you will see people use them to can tomatoes)
8 to 16 fluid ounces of apricot kernel carrier oil
Rose Absolute Otto (optional)
Patchouli Oil (optional)
Jasmine Absolute (optional)
Tanka Beans (optional)
Grains of Paradise (optional)
Apple Seeds (optional)

Directions:  On the new moon preferably on the first Friday after the new moon and in the Planetary Hour of Venus. Take the crystals and gemstones that you have cleansed and programed with your intention and place them in your mason jar fill the jar with apricot kernel oil.  Place outside in a place where the jar is going to get the most sun and moon rays or in a window seal for at least one waxing phase of the moon. You can use the oil sooner, but the longer it absorbs the rays of the sun and moon the more powerful it will become and the more the properties of the crystals will transfer to the oil.  I just leave my jar outside every waxing phase of the moon (from the new moon to the full moon).  It seems to me like the oil  just gets stronger and stronger the more sun and moon rays it absorbs.  After all the oil is gone I cleanse the crystals and reprogram them again and make another batch of oil.

If want to imbue the oil with even more power use some or all of the optional ingredients above.  I use this as the carrier oil base for all the love oils that I make, it really makes all the love oils more powerful.

You can wear this oil, place in your bath water, and you can put it in your red and pink love spell candles every Friday of the waxing phase of the moon.  You will be amazed at the results!

If you are finding that you are attracting to many people then you can add a piece of amethyst to the oil to tame things down a bit.

Stop Third Parties From Harming Your Relationship With One Lemon

This love spell is designed to get rid of the interference of an EX or someone that has swayed your lovers attention.  It comes from Italy where my mom’s side is from. It will not cause anyone harm, but it will stop them from harming/interfering with you or your relationship.  This spell is also very helpful if you think someone is sending you negative energy, jealousy, or doing black magick against you.

This love spell can also be used if you think someone has done something spiritually to influence your lover (love spell) a psychic reading can detect if this is a problem.  I have found that the symptoms of someone doing negative magick  is that your lover changes all the sudden out of the blue and leaves you for the other person even though there is no logical reason for them doing so. You also feel a weird energy and other negative things happen around you.  Sometimes pestilence such as mice, rats, or other bugs can be a sign of black magick.

Things you will need for this love spell:

Fresh Large Lemon
Piece Of Paper (write the persons name on it that is interfering)
Tin Foil

Directions:

You do this spell on a Saturday in the waning phase of the moon in the planetary hour of mars.  Write the person’s name on a piece of paper ( if you are lucky enough to get/have a picture, hair, or date of birth of this person use this as well).  Take your lemon and slit/piece it it with a big knife (do not cut the lemon in half). Insert the persons name, hair, picture and /or date of birth into the hole/slit you made in the lemon. Wrap the whole thing up in tin foil and freeze it.

WARNING:

One time I let my lemons defrost when I was coming to my Cleveland house from Florida, this was a mistake, as all the negative people surfaced again.   I recommend that you keep this lemon in the freezer indefinitely.  This same thing has happened to a number of my clients that didn’t realize they should keep the lemon in the freezer.  I also have had several clients that started to doubt whether it was the lemon spell that really helped them, so they through the lemon away and the situation went right back to what it was before they did it.

Love Spell: How Do I Know It Is Working?

What are some of the signs you should see if your love spell was successful?

I have found that if your love spell is successful you will definitely get signs to let you know it is working.  I recall once being in the car with a client that was very frustrated and he said “when is this magick going to work?”  Just then a big truck drove by that said, “magick works!” Now that was a pretty amazing sign, but you will get amazing signs too.

Many clients report that they see the persons name or date of birth all over the place, provided they are trying to reunite with a particular person.  Clients that are looking for someone new will see the type of person they want all over the place. At first the person doesn’t come up to them or anything they just see that type of person, but as the love spell grows of course then they find themselves interacting with the type of people that they have done the spell for.  It is not like they are looking for these signs they just come.

I have also found just before it works out the signs get stronger and more frequent.

Do Candles Give you Signs When You Are Doing The Love Spell?

Absolutely! Here are just a few:

-If the candle burns high this is a good sign.
-If the candle flame burns low and keeps going out this means you need to do a lot more work as your intention is running into much resistance.
-If the candle glass cracks or breaks this is a really really good sign. In most love cases once this happens the intention manifests quickly after.
-White smoke on the glass is a good sign.
-Black smoke on the glass means that the work is burning off resistance and negativity to your intention (this can be good or bad depending on the intention of the love spell)
-Pictures on the glass can be interpreted much like tea leaf reading
-If the flame is high and steady and the candle burns quick then normal this is a good sign that your intention is going to manifest quickly
-If you are using a candle to represent someone and the flame keep flickering and going all over the place, it means they are going back and forth about you.

Can Negative Things Happen To Discourage You From Your Intention When Doing a Love Spell? 

Yes; We call this chemicalization in metaphysics.  When you first start doing your love spells, affirmations, and keeping your mind focused on what you want, at first, it seems like everything is going opposite of what you are trying to manifest.  Sometimes it is not outer things going wrong, but just you start getting all these awful feelings, doubt, and fear.

Dont give up it is working!  When you go from a dark room into the light you are temporarily blinded even though you are in the light.  What is happening is all the resistance in you and the situation is coming up from the subconscious mind, dont try to fight it just say, “no I do not accept this as true for me.”  Let it fly away like a bird, and go back to focusing upon what you want.

In magick and life a winner is a loser that doesnt give up!

Love Spell: To bring a new lover/lovers into your life.

Very Powerful Love Spell That Attracts New Love  Into Your Life

This is a really good and powerful love spell if you want to manifest new lovers or your soul mate.  I have found that love spells that focus on a particular person sometimes can be very limiting.

Often times we think this person would make us happy, but to many times I have found that it is not so.  When you let God take the lead in your life you will  always be the happiest and most prosperous.  So always  go with divine selection in your love spells and you will be amazed at how much better they work and how someone new can be so much better then the old person.  God created you so he knows what is going to make you happy, better then what you do!

Go online and get images of the look of the person that you want. Make a list of the characteristics that you want in this person (be very specific) .

I recommend that you set up an altar for love  (if you are able) you can place gemstones like rose quarts, moonstone, lodestone, garnet, jade, and pearl, as these are some of the gemstones associated with love.

Place the pictures that you have found and printed out on or around the altar.  You can even make a vision board that you hang above the altar where you make a very creative poster of the pictures and characteristics of the person you want to manifest.

I had a client that made a very dull and grey vision board and she met a very dull and boring accountant.  So, be very conscious in making your vision boards.  I recommend that you make them with reds, pinks and some whites.  I also recommend that you place a red or pink Himalayan Crystal Salt lamp on the altar.  Rub the lamp with Jasmine Oil every Friday.

For added power, I recommend that you place your vision board, love altar, and do love magick  in the far right corner of any level of your house.  The far right corner is determined from when you walk in your main entrance way (front door).  In Feng Shui this is known as the love and relationship corner of your home.

Things you will need for this love spell:

Optional love altar, Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamp, gemstones for love
11 pink candles (7 day candles in the glass)
Come to me oil
Burn a mixture of Damania, Cinnamon, and Cat Nip (powdered herbs) on a coal as an incense when you are focusing on it.

Directions: Try to start this as close to the new moon as you can initially.  This spell takes a couple months to do, but I have found you start to see results within a month and it just keeps getting more and more intense. Once you have started your fist pink candle on a Friday in the waxing moon, as close to the new moon as you can get, then every Friday during the waxing phase of the moon you light a new pink candle until all of you candles are gone.

How To Eliminate Blocks And Fear

Does your lover come close and then retreat?  You reach a new level of closeness and then he/she vanishes? Then this love spell is  for you.

This love spell is done during the Waning Phase of the Moon.  The Waning Phase of the Moon is from the full moon to the New Moon. Please see understanding moon phases for more detailed information.  The Waning Phase of the Moon is the time to do spiritual work for release.

I recommend to do this love spell on a Monday and/or a Wednesday.  This is why it is good to do a psychic reading before you start so you can see if the problem is more emotional, mental or both.

Monday is ruled by the Moon; The Moon deals with emotions.   Wednesday is ruled by Mercury; Mercury deals with the mind.   Depending on if the blocks are mental or emotional you would do on a Monday or a Wednesday.  I have found it is not a bad idea to do both on a Monday and Wednesday or sometimes I will recommend clients to do one week on a Monday and the next week on a Wednesday of the Waning Moon.

For this love spell you will need:

1 black and/or red candle (7 day novena candle in the glass work best). *
1 bottle of purification oil
Picture of your lover and/or hair, nail clippings, complete date of birth, or whatever you are able to obtain at this time.

*Red candles are used for emotional anxiety/fear and black is used as a general for any type of emotional block.

Directions: On the day you have picked light your Red or Black candle.  After the candle burns for about a half an hour then put the a cap full of your purification oil in.  You do not want to put the oil in right away as it will interfere with the candle burning.  Every day you will add an additional cap full of purification oil into the candle.

Here is a visualization that I recommend to clients.  First see your lover in a dark place it is very cloudy and he or she looks very sad and isolated.  Then see the clouds start to open up all the sudden and light is starting to gradually shine through.  As the light starts shinning very brightly put yourself into the picture.  By the end of the visualization see you and them holding hands and maybe joyfully skipping down a walkway by the ocean with all kinds of rainbows in the sky.  You want to smell the scent of the ocean feel the air whipping through your hair. In NLP they say if you introduce a sense impression it makes your visualizations much stronger.

I recommend that you also do an affirmations such as, ” I give thanks that all blocks within_________are now dissolved into the nothingness from which they came.  Say it aloud and also write it several times.

If you know about planetary hours (you can get them free on your smart phone or by typing in ChronosXP into Google) Use the hour of Saturn for this love spell.  It is also best done when the sun is setting if possible.
